project overview
during college, i noticed that lots of players of the game, Beer Die, were forgetting the score of the game, which would lead to misunderstandings and confrontations. Additionally, there was a lack of an app that fulfilled this need, so i made one.

"what's the score again?"
"no the score is 9-7, not 9-8."
solution
create an intuitive app that allows users to effortlessly track the score of the game, with responsive score updates and a match history feature for easy review.
wireframes
I started with rough sketches of basic functions, like responsive scoring and match history
after, i created a working prototype in Figma and worked closely with my developer to ensure that both front-end and back-end were implemented smoothly.
logo/branding
I wanted the app to have a clean, simplistic logo to echo how easy it is to track the score.
we went with the name, die up!, because this is the phrase you need to shout before intiating your turn in the game.
check it out on the app store now!
reflection
i learned that App development is not a simple, linear process. There are times when you must scrap an idea or even start over.
